Bacalar is gearing up for one of the most anticipated festivals of the year—the Carnaval Cósmico 2025! From February 21 to 25, locals and visitors alike will immerse themselves in five days of color, music, dance, and cultural expression, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Laguna de los Siete Colores.

The Carnaval Cósmico has become an iconic event in the Mexican Caribbean, blending ancestral traditions with contemporary entertainment. This year’s festival promises an electrifying parade, dazzling floats, and high-energy dance troupes, alongside an incredible lineup of artists who will take the stage at the Fuerte de San Felipe.
